With multiple news outlets reporting varying facts on what transpired at the Sikh temple (or Gurdwara) earlier today it remains clear that this story remains an evolving and fluid situation. “The Sikh Coalition’s thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the shooting, the Sikh community of Milwaukee, and the larger community of Wisconsin, which we know will stand with their Sikh neighbors with their support and pr...

The Chamorro People v. Arnold Davis

Image
Not a great day to be Chamorro-anything on Guam lately. Seems like Dave Davis is everywhere in the local legal world. Not only is he challenging the self-determination plebiscite, he's also now mentioned in a probe involving the "constitutionality" of the Chamorro Land Trust. It's only a matter of time until he starts challenging Chamorro Month and "Chamorro Chip Cookies." Then came the two mad wars of imperial vanity--Korea and Vietnam. They were bitter for us, not to mention for the so-called enemy. Next we were enrolled in a perpetual war against what seemed to be the enemy-of-the-month club. This war kept major revenues going to military procurement and secret police, while withhol...

All of them were translated into Korean so that the marchers could see the support and encouragement they were receiving from far off places such as Germany, Palestine, Ireland, India and even East Timor. Some of the messages are pasted below: ********************************** Taro Abe , Nagoya, Japan
